Before going up to join his new club, Lewis, on the other hand, had been living at home in New Orleans. Lewis, 22, and Nwora, 25, will probably spend the upcoming few months in Toronto. Both of them have contracts that are about to expire and have alternated between the rotation in their prior stops.
Over the following two months, Toronto will probably offer them an opportunity to show themselves with the Raptors. Brown’s prospects are a little less certain. Although his contract may be expiring this year, Toronto is probably going to be interested in the 27-year-old wing who helped the Denver Nuggets win a title the previous year.
If Brown is not able to be combined with other players in a deal before the trade deadline of February 8th, the New York Knicks have already been floated as a possible destination. For as long Brown stays with the team, Toronto will undoubtedly employ him as a vital member of the rotation.
He gives the Raptors, who have been without a capable wing since the departure of OG Anunoby earlier this year, a much-needed defensive component. Brown is a versatile offensive player who can play both on and off the ball. This season, he is averaging 12.1 points, three assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 47.5% shooting from the field.
